The annual maximum of electricity production from RES (by volume) last year was recorded in August – 1,165 thousand MWh, and the minimum figure was recorded in December.
As reported, Energoatom generated 53 million MWh of electricity in 2024, which is 2% more than in 2023 and 12% more than in 2022.

The amount of electricity generated in Ukraine from renewable sources (SPPs, WPPs, biogas power plants and mini-hydroelectric power plants) in 2024 amounted to 11 million MWh, which is 6.4% more than in 2023. As a result, the share of renewables in the country's overall energy balance amounted to almost 11%, according to the industry media ExPro.
