Olha Yevstihnieieva: CBAM for Ukraine — “the train has already left” and what to do about it
News 05.06.2026 09:59
From 2026, the CBAM — a tax on the carbon footprint of imports — has become fully operational in the EU. Ukrainian businesses will receive the first real bills in 2027. About why “the train has already left” and what Kyiv should do already this year, EnergoBusiness spoke with Olha Yevstihnieieva, advocacy manager for European integration reforms and a PhD candidate in climate economics working on carbon pricing/CBAM issues.
