Power System Update: Consumption Remains Stable, Restoration Ongoing in Four Regions

Russian attacks on civilian energy infrastructure resulted in new power outages across Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions as of the morning of September 4. Emergency repair crews are working to restore power to all affected consumers wherever security conditions permit.

Electricity consumption remains consistent with seasonal trends. As of 09:30 on Friday, demand matched the level recorded at the same time on the previous working day. Yesterday, September 3, the daily peak was recorded in the evening hours, remaining on par with Wednesday's peak.

Taking into account current weather conditions and industrial solar generation, energy operators urge consumers to shift intensive electricity use to daytime hours between 11:00 and 15:00, and to avoid running multiple high-power appliances simultaneously during the evening peak from 18:00 to 22:00.
