It was reported by the terminal operator GAZ-SYSTEM company.
The grant covers such works as: seabed surveys, environmental inventories, FEED (Front End Engineering Design), building permit design and detailed design as well as obtaining the necessary administrative decisions and permits – including the building permit.
It was also reported, in March 2020, the LNG Gdańsk Project was recognized as a Project of Common Interest (PCI) prioritising ‘North-South Gas Interconnection in Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe” (NSI East Gas). The Project is also included in the list of critical gas infrastructure under the European Commission's plan presented earlier this year to rapidly reduce dependence on Russian fossil fuels and fast forward the green transition – REPowerUE.
