On Tuesday, January 21, electricity consumption increased, and the need for economical consumption remains. According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the NPC Ukrenergo on Facebook.

"Electricity consumption has increased. Today, January 21, its level, as of 9:00 a.m., was 3.3% higher than at the same time on the previous day, Monday. The reason for this is cloudy weather in most regions and a decrease in the efficiency of household SPPs," the statement said.
Yesterday, January 20, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 4.4% lower than the maximum of the previous business day, on Friday, January 17. The reason for this difference is higher air temperatures in most regions.
It is noted that the situation in the power system may change and it is necessary to follow the messages on the websites and official pages in social networks of distribution system operators (oblenergos).
Ukrenergo also urged not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening: 09:00 - 11:00 and 16:00 - 19:00.
In addition, the Ministry of Energy reported that power was restored to 14,907 consumers who were cut off as a result of the fighting.
The water level in the cooling pond at the Zaporizhzhia NPP is 14.12 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
As reported, on January 19, power companies restored power to 7,734 consumers who were cut off as a result of the hostilities.
