On August 25, the daily peak demand recorded in the evening was 1.7% higher than the peak on August 24.
Power grid operators urge consumers to shift the use of energy-intensive appliances to daytime hours—between 11:00 and 15:00—during peak industrial solar generation, and to curb consumption during the evening peak from 18:00 to 22:00.
Meanwhile, Russian drone and artillery strikes have caused new power outages in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Emergency repair teams are restoring supply wherever the security situation permits.
