Yesterday, January 15, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 2.3% higher than the previous day's maximum on Tuesday, January 14.
Ukrenergo has emphasised that from 8:00 to 20:00 today there is a need for economical electricity consumption and urged not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time.
It is noted that the situation in the power system may change and it is recommended to follow the messages on the websites and official pages in social networks of distribution system operators (oblenergos).
In addition, the Ministry of Energy reported that power was restored to 35,499 consumers who were cut off as a result of the fighting.
The water level in the cooling pond at the Zaporizhzhia NPP is 14.12 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
As reported, on Wednesday, January 15, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian energy system. Power engineers are working to restore damaged facilities and ensure a stable power supply.
