It is noted that the assessment of the compliance of the integrated management system of Energoatom with the requirements of international standards was carried out by IMS International LLC from November 20 to 28.
"Based on the results of the work, the audit team will recommend to the certification body to issue certificates of compliance of Energoatom's integrated management system with the requirements of the specified international and national standards," the statement said.
Energoatom also discussed the potential for improving the management system and highlighted its positive aspects, in particular, the development of electronic document management and preparatory work for the introduction of new standards in the company's integrated management system.
The IMS certification according to international ISO standards is not only determined by the requirements of the IAEA and the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine but is also necessary to maintain the company's status in the international market. Thus, according to Energoatom, the availability of a certified management system increases the company's reputation and competitiveness. Besides, it promotes a more active involvement of the company in international projects, because Western partners mostly prefer dealing with enterprises that have these certificates.
As reported, in October, GTS Operator of Ukraine LLC received updated certificates for management systems in the field of Natural Gas Transition confirming compliance with ISO standards.
