Fraudsters are spreading information about the alleged provision of free gas to Ukrainians. This was reported by the Naftogaz Group on Telegram.
The fake information refers to the payment of UAH 5,000 and the provision of free gas to Ukrainians.
"Be careful: we are not collecting any applications for free provision of services or funds to pay for gas. Such publications are an attempt to obtain personal data and money from citizens," Naftogaz emphasised.
The company asks consumers not to click on unknown links and to trust official sources of information.
Earlier, the Centre For Countering Disinformation warned Ukrainians that Russians were spreading the fake bills on behalf of Naftogaz, in which people were offered a discount for paying for services if they told about collaborators or evaders. The Centre called to trust only verified information sources.
