Proposal of the Energy Market Department
According to the proposal of the Energy Market Department, it is planned to set such marginal prices starting from December 1:
1) in the day-ahead and intraday markets:
maximum marginal prices from 00:00 to 07:00, from 11:00 to 17:00 – 5,600.00 UAH/MWh; from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 – 6,900.00 UAH/MWh; from 17:00 to 23:00 – 9,000.00 UAH/MWh;
the minimum price ceiling is 10.00 UAH/MWh;
2) in the balancing market:
maximum marginal prices from 00:00 to 07:00 – 6,600.00 UAH/MWh; from 07:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 – 8,250.00 UAH/MWh; from 17:00 to 23:00 – 10,000.00 UAH/MWh;
the minimum price ceiling is 0.01 UAH/MWh.
Reduction of electricity imports
As reported by ExPro, Ukraine imported 45.7 thousand MWh of electricity on November 1-12. For comparison, during October 1-12, 51.2 thousand MWh was imported, with a lower need to cover the deficit. On some days in November, the daily import volume dropped to 1 thousand MWh.
On Wednesday, November 13, the transmission system operator NPC Ukrenergo imposed power restriction schedules for industry and businesses. One of the reasons for the restrictions was the reduction of electricity imports.
