The strike triggered a fire at the facility, forcing a complete shutdown of operations. At present, it is impossible to estimate the full scale of the destruction.
The company emphasized that at the time of the attack, all employees were inside shelters and followed all necessary safety protocols. No casualties or injuries among the staff have been reported.
Serhiy Koretsky, CEO of JSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, stated that this particular facility, along with several others in the region, has been targeted by Russian forces multiple times.
