The deceased were experienced professionals who ensured the country remained supplied with heat and gas under the most difficult conditions:

Oleksandr Kozin headed the condensate stabilization technology shop. He was always at the forefront of recovery efforts, personally participating in firefighting and equipment repairs following attacks. For his courage, he was awarded the Order of Merit, III degree, by the President of Ukraine. He is survived by a minor son.

Yuriy Musienko worked as a process pump operator, responsible for the stability of production processes that could not be halted even in the most critical moments.

Mykhailo Dub served as a shift engineer in the gas condensate and oil processing department, where he ensured safe and continuous production operations.
Sergiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, emphasizing that this is a heavy loss for the entire company.
Additionally, twelve other Group employees were injured during the shelling, including the head of the targeted facility. All victims are currently receiving necessary medical treatment. Two SES rescuers also lost their lives while performing their duties at the site, and a significant number of firefighters were wounded.
The energy infrastructure remains under constant threat. Since the beginning of 2026, Naftogaz Group facilities have been targeted by 107 attacks involving 245 drones, missiles, and artillery. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has killed 323 employees of the Naftogaz Group.
