ARMA seeks manager for oil depot linked to business of Russian accomplices

This is a facility located in the village of Orativ, the Orativ district.
Under martial law, the ARMA notes that such facilities are of strategic importance for ensuring energy security and uninterrupted fuel supply.
The tender will be held in the Prozorro electronic trading system. The deadline for submitting bids is January 21, 2025. The expected value of the tender is UAH 300 thousand.
As the Agency notes, the basis for the transfer of the asset to ARMA's management was the decision of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv on October 18, 2022. According to it, the oil depot belongs to Yug Oil PE (part of the Oil Transit Group), which is registered in occupied Melitopol.
According to the investigation, the owners of Oil Transit set up a mechanism for selling Russian-made fuel in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions with the assistance of the Russian Defence Ministry's military.
In total, Oil Transit owned about 10 gas stations, mostly in the temporarily occupied territory, as well as the aforementioned oil depot.
According to Youcontrol, Yug Oil is owned by Oleksiy Popov, a resident of Melitopol. As previously reported, law enforcement officers served the businessman with a notice of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state.
As a reminder, on January 7, 2025, the ARMA commission for the sale of seized assets selected the organiser of the auction for the sale of the seized Russian oil tanker Nika Spirit.
