DTEK Energy's machine-building enterprises continue to operate in an intensified mode, providing Ukrainian mines with the equipment necessary for reliable coal production under wartime conditions.

Between January and April 2026, the company's machine-building plants produced and repaired 640 units of mining equipment. They also manufactured over 600,000 spare parts and components. Key output included five new roadheaders and shearers, as well as three Ukrainian-made electric motors.

"The resilience of the energy system, especially during the most difficult winters like the one we recently experienced, is built through daily proactive work. Our machine builders are already manufacturing and repairing the equipment and spare parts essential for the reliable operation of Ukrainian coal mining. This is a vital contribution to the stability of our mines, the energy system, and our readiness for the challenges of the upcoming season," noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Energy.

According to preliminary data, DTEK Energy invested approximately UAH 5 billion in the first four months of 2026 to prepare for summer consumption peaks and the next heating season. The majority of these funds were directed toward maintenance campaigns, restoration work following enemy attacks, and supporting the reliable operation of thermal generation and coal enterprises.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion (2022 – April 2026), the company's total investments in repairs, TPP restoration, and supporting the operations of mines and machine-building plants have exceeded UAH 49 billion.
