Recovery operations are conducted promptly — technicians begin repairs as soon as they receive clearance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
Regional Restoration Statistics:

Dnipropetrovsk Region: The largest volume of work was carried out here, with power restored to 190,000 households. The region remains under constant shelling, causing regular damage to the power grid.

Donetsk Region: Despite the extremely difficult security situation and ongoing combat, specialists managed to complete repairs for 33.3 thousand homes.

Odesa Region: Power was restored to the homes of 12.8 thousand local families. The region's energy system continues to be a primary target for the enemy.

Kyiv Region: During the same period, electricity was restored to over a thousand homes blacked out following enemy strikes.
"The enemy continues to attack our energy system. Despite large-scale destruction, security challenges, and exhaustion, we continue to work and restore power. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have restored electricity to over 43.3 million families in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Donetsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv. In some settlements near the combat zone, we have restored power dozens of times," noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO of DTEK Grids.
It is worth noting that the total number of restorations includes repeat repairs in the same settlements that have been repeatedly targeted by attacks. Currently, approximately 1,000 DTEK repair crews are working to ensure Ukrainians have a steady power supply during the war.
