From 7 to 13 October, the power engineers of DTEK Grids' distribution system operators (DSOs) managed to fully or partially restore the power supply to 41 settlements and turn on electricity to 25.4 thousand households in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

" DTEK Grids' specialists are restoring the networks destroyed by the enemy as soon as they receive permission from the Armed Forces and the State Emergency Service. Most of them are in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The southern part of the region, close to the combat zone, is particularly affected. From October 7 to 13, our specialists managed to repair a number of damaged grids and restore electricity to 13.7 thousand families of local residents," the energy holding said in a press release on Monday.

At the same time, Russian artillery, missile, drone and air strikes continue to destroy civilian towns and villages, including power equipment in the Donetsk region. Last week, the company managed to restore electricity supply to 11.7 thousand households in the Donetsk region despite all the security challenges in the region where active hostilities are taking place.

DTEK Grids develops the electricity distribution and power grid operation business in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa regions. The company's DSOs serve 5.5 million households and 158,000 enterprises.
