DTEK opened a green energy laboratory at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to train students

It is noted that the renewable energy laboratory comprises two separate areas dedicated to solar and wind energy, respectively.
In addition, the company has provided the necessary technical equipment for the educational and scientific laboratory and plans to continue to equip it in the coming years. Energy storage systems, solar panels, an inverter and equipment for measuring meteorological indicators have already been purchased for the laboratory.

I believe that the modernised classrooms and new technical equipment will enhance the learning experience for both teachers and students. Let this project inspire and motivate young professionals to acquire new knowledge and apply it to the future restoration of Ukraine's energy potential," Oleksandr Selyshchev, CEO of DTEK Renewables, said.
The first stage of cooperation between DTEK Renewables and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has been implemented. The next stage of the project will involve the expansion of the lab’s technical facilities.
Background. The Memorandum of Cooperation between Rinat Akhmetov's DTEK and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was signed on August 9, 2024.
