Energy decentralisation in Ukraine was discussed by experts in The Hague

The key topic of the conference was the ability of communities to strengthen their energy resilience during the war by applying innovative decentralised energy solutions. Participants shared ideas on how to imple-ment such solutions, including the use of renewable energy sources and the development of local energy systems that can operate independently of centralised networks.
Other issues discussed at the conference included an overview of current challenges and international repair initiatives. The participants also explored strategies for implementation and investment opportunities, along with collaborative action plans for partnerships between the private sector and local governments.
As reported by Ukrainian Energy, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution on the implementation of a pilot project to create, implement and ensure the functioning of the Apartment Building Management System (ABMS). It is planned to be implemented in the next two years.
On December 9-13, Ukraine will host the National Energy Efficiency Week 2024 project. The organisers are planning to develop energy culture.
