Imports on spot markets
In October, 51.3 thousand MWh of imported electricity was sold on the spot market, which is up to 30% of total imports in the respective month.
What was it like in last October?
In October 2023, the structure of sales in the short-term market segments was slightly different, but nuclear fuel as an energy source also took 25.7%. The share of coal was higher – 13.3% compared to 8.14% this year. Also, the share of solar energy was higher – 13.54% vs. 10.32%. However, the total volume of electricity sales in the DAM and IDM in October 2024 was 33% less than this year.
