According to ExPro, the company imported 618 MWh of electricity from Romania at an average price of 161 EUR/MWh. The company also exported electricity to Moldova in January at an average price of 80 EUR/MWh. As previously reported by ExPro, in January 2025, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 56%, compared to December 2024 – to almost 189 thousand MWh.

Earlier, Epicentr Generation planned to import electricity from the EU for the needs of the plant "Epicentr Ceramic Corporation" which produces ceramic tiles in the Kyiv region.
Epicentr Generation received licenses for electricity and gas supply in August 2024. According to the YouControl analytical system, Epicentr Generation LLC was established on July 4, 2024. Marina Dimitrova is the manager. The main type of activity is electricity trading. The ultimate beneficiaries of the company are Oleksandr and Halyna Geregas.
