"The Fund supported the restoration of 2 GW of generating capacity and financed the purchase of generators, turbines, control systems, high-voltage equipment and other critical components," the statement said.
It is noted that since April 2022, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has raised more than EUR 1 billion from more than 30 donors to repair Ukraine's energy infrastructure. More than 700 contracts for the supply of equipment with a total value of EUR 600 million have been concluded at the expense of the Fund, which has contributed to the restoration of the energy infrastructure of more than 56 Ukrainian companies in 21 regions.
As reported, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund was established in April 2022. During its operation, it has become an effective tool for providing international assistance in the energy sector, enabling Ukrainian energy companies to recover from Russian attacks, carry out repairs, and install new facilities.
