The selection process for independent members was conducted through an open procedure by an independent recruiting agency.

Maryna Petrov — An international finance expert with over 20 years of experience in banking, investment, and market development in Central and Eastern Europe. She previously headed the EBRD office in Belarus and served as Deputy Director of the EBRD in Ukraine.

Justin Goonesinghe — An international energy and gas market expert with over 15 years of experience. He currently serves as Director of Energy Sector and Gas Markets at Tetra Tech (UAE) and previously worked on gas market development in the UK at National Grid.
