According to the organisation, trade in guarantees of the origin of electricity generated from renewable energy sources on the Market Operator's platform will be carried out with standardised and special products.
Two types of bidding will be available for sellers and buyers of guarantees of origin: continuous and individual.
After purchasing the Guarantee of Origin, the buyer-consumer must redeem (activate) it in the Register of Guarantees of Origin of Electricity Generated from Renewable Energy Sources, which is administered by the NEURC. After that, the purchased guarantee of origin is withdrawn from circulation and is a confirmation that the buyer uses "green" energy to produce goods or services.
