The MHP’s export of biomethane was carried out through gas pipelines across the Ukrainian-Polish border to Germany. The buyer of the biomethane was Vitol.
The first export of biomethane
As a reminder, Vitagro Energy LLC, a part of Vitagro agricultural holding, carried out the first-ever biomethane export operation on February 7. The company exported 67.5 thousand cubic metres of biomethane from Slovakia to Germany. The biomethane was purchased by ERU Europe.
MHP became the second company to export biomethane from Ukraine

Oril Leader PrJSC, a part of MHP agro-industrial holding with a biomethane plant in the Dnipropetrovsk region, exported 27.4 thousand cubic metres of biomethane on February 11, becoming the second Ukrainian company to export biomethane. This was reported by ExPro sources. As a reminder, ExPro Daily Gas reported on February 10 that MHP could export 27 thousand cubic metres of biomethane in the coming days.
