Two power plants to be built in Kharkiv region

According to him, the new power units will provide heat to 4,000 residents.
In addition, the installation of a 5 MW gas modular boiler house, which the region received from UNICEF, is nearing its completion in the Kharkiv region.
Denys Shmyhal added that the Government has allocated UAH 2.4 billion to the Kharkiv region to prepare for the heating season. The region has received more than 1,200 generators of various capacities and 39 cogeneration units for heat, water and wastewater companies.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the development of distributed generation is a key element of preparation for this year's heating season. New energy facilities will contribute to stable heat supply in the face of the ongoing energy crisis.
As reported by Ukrainian Energy, KharkivOblenergo JSC, together with the American GE Vernova, intends to implement a project to create a fleet of mobile high- and medium-voltage substations on the basis of the regional power company.
KharkivOblenergo JSC purchased two mobile verification laboratories KAEL-5 and one ETL-35 to identify damage locations of all types of cable lines, as well as to test the insulation of cables and other devices.
