The Naftogaz Group also imports fuel, as we must be prepared for all challenges in the war" Roman Chumak, the CEO of Naftogaz Group, emphasised.
He added that various scenarios are currently being worked out together with international partners to strengthen the country's energy resilience during the war.
How Naftogaz companies help to get through the winter
However, as reported earlier, Ukrtransgaz, one of the Group's companies, bought imported natural gas at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange in December and January to attract additional gas resources.
Another company of the Group, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, increased commercial gas production by 5% - to 13.9 bcm in 2024.
