The development of the Policy was preceded by cooperation between the GTSOU and the USAID Energy Security Project under the initiative "Consulting Services on Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance for the GTSOU".
Based on the results of the work performed and taking into account the best international practices, the GTSOU prepared the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Policy. It outlines the directions, key goals and objectives of the GTSOU to implement the principles of sustainable development – environmental protection, social advancement and effective corporate governance. The Sustainable Development Committee will be set up to oversee the coordination of divisions in implementing the Policy.
