In January-September 2024, OKKO increased its tax payments by 48%, or almost UAH 5 billion, compared to the same period last year. Of this amount, UAH 3.477 billion is attributable to taxes on operating activities (income tax, VAT, except for VAT paid to customs on imports, retail excise, personal income tax, military duty, land payment, and mandatory state pension insurance). Another 11.831 billion hryvnias are taxes paid on the import of goods, the amount of which depends on whether the Group's companies directly import fuel or purchase already cleared petroleum products in the domestic market, OKKO clarified.
Taxes per litre of fuel
According to the results of 9 months of 2024, the payment of operating taxes for each litre of fuel sold increased to UAH 3.35 on average. For comparison, this figure was UAH 2.51 per litre in 9M2023.
In January-September 2024, each OKKO filling station paid an average of UAH 968.22 thousand of taxes per month. A year ago, this figure was UAH 795.46 thousand per month.
Financial results for the third quarter.
In the third quarter of this year, OKKO paid a total of UAH 5.567 billion in taxes and fees, which is 21% more than in the first quarter of 2023 and 9% more than in the second quarter of 2024.
OKKO also noted an increase in deductions from the company's employees' salaries, namely the payment of mandatory state pension insurance, military duty, and personal income tax.
According to the results of the third quarter of 2024, each OKKO employee paid UAH 11,485 per month of such taxes and fees from their salary. In the first quarter of 2024, this figure was UAH 9,212, and in the second quarter – UAH 10,952, OKKO said.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the OKKO Group has paid a total of more than UAH 38 billion in taxes and fees to the budget. Another UAH 2.2 billion was donated to support the Armed Forces and rebuild Ukraine, the company's press service said.
