Specialists begin repairing networks immediately after receiving clearance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
Regional Breakdown
The largest volume of restoration work took place in the Donetsk region, which remains a zone of active hostilities. Despite the extremely difficult security situation, power engineers managed to restore electricity to more than 449,000 households in the region over the week.
In other regions, the restoration efforts were as follows:

Dnipropetrovsk region: Electricity was restored for nearly 190,000 families. Due to regular shelling of the region, power grids suffer constant damage, leading to recurring outages.

Kyiv region: Between March 16 and 22, light was returned to 152,000 homes that were de-energized following attacks.

Odesa region: In a region where the energy system also remains under constant strikes, power supply was restored for more than 16,000 families during the week.
Company Statement
Alina Bondarenko, CEO of DTEK Grids, noted that the enemy attacks the country's energy system almost continuously.
"Despite this, we continue to work for the 1,489th day to bring back the light. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, we have restored electricity for more than 41.2 million families in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Donetsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv. In some settlements near the combat zones, power supply had to be restored dozens of times," she stated.
Currently, about 1,000 DTEK engineering teams are working to ensure Ukrainians have a steady power supply under wartime conditions, moving to repair damage as soon as they gain access to the sites.
