Ukraine reduced gasoline imports by road by 21% in 2024

In 2024, road imports of gasoline to Ukraine amounted to 314.3 thousand tonnes, which is 20.9% less than in 2023. This is stated in the issue of NaftoRynok Daily fuels & LPG dated January 17, 2025.

The share of gasoline tanker deliveries in the total volume of gasoline imports to Ukraine decreased from 31.8% in 2023 to 25.4% in 2024. This indicates a change in the market's logistics priorities.
Despite the overall decline in imports by fuel tankers in 2024, the volume of supplies showed positive dynamics on a quarterly basis. Road shipments reached their high in Q4 2024 – 95.7 thousand tonnes. This is 2.4% more than in Q3, 39.5% more than in Q2, and 69.3% more than in Q1.
The number of gasoline importers by fuel tankers decreased to 167 in 2024, compared to 238 in 2023.

Earlier, NaftoRynok reported that gasoline imports to Ukraine by tanker trucks continued to grow in December, increasing by almost 22% compared to the previous month.
