Ukraine increased liquefied natural gas imports by 22% in February

Ukrainian companies increased liquefied natural gas imports by 22% on February 1-23, 2025, compared to the same period of the previous month. This is stated in the issue of NaftoRynok Daily fuels & LPG dated February 24, 2025.

Since the beginning of this month, Ukraine has imported 41.9 thousand tonnes of LPG from abroad, which is 22% more than in the same period in January 2025. The average cost of imported gas was 732 USD/t (from 53.4 thousand UAH/t with taxes) at the border. Auto imports accounted for 55.5% of LPG supplies to Ukraine.
At the same time, last week (February 17-23, 2025), the volume of liquefied gas supplies to Ukraine halved compared to the previous week – to 1.16 thousand tonnes per day.
Earlier, NaftoRynok reported that Ukraine reduced road imports of gasoline by 21% in 2024.
