According to the ExPro Electricity monitoring, the average daily electricity imports for February 11-17, 2025 amounted to 10.5 thousand MWh, which is twice as much as for February 1-10.
In total, almost 130 thousand MWh of electricity have been imported since the beginning of February, with the largest share coming from Hungary (36%).
According to ExPro's monitoring data, the reserved crossing for imports is currently only 30-40% utilised. Despite the need for electricity during the evening peak hours, the supply for this period of the day is about 1 GW (out of 2.1 GW of technical capacity).
