"Parallel to this, we are upgrading cables, pipes, and corrosion and scale protection systems—this is a comprehensive effort involving several company divisions," noted Bohdan Kukura, Chairman of the Board of Ukrnafta.
He added that in 2026, the company continues to modernize its well stock and scale these solutions.

According to Ukrnafta, the comprehensive approach and modern equipment have yielded significant results over the last two years:

Reduced Maintenance: The monthly number of repairs for the ESP-operated well stock dropped from 48 to 32.

Extended Lifespan: The average mean time between repairs (MTBR) for the general ESP stock increased by 75%, rising from 216 to 377 days.

Global Standards: In wells where foreign-made pumps are installed, the MTBR reached 600 days, with some units operating for more than 800 days without repair, aligning with world-class practices.
