"Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1320 dated 07.12.2023 "Some issues of construction and/or placement of gas piston and gas turbine units, in particular cogeneration, block-modular boilers, diesel/gasoline and gas generators, for the period of martial law" have been introduced," the statement said.
According to T. Melnychuk, these changes were made to accelerate the construction and commissioning of distributed generation installations, including gas piston and gas turbine units.
This will improve energy security and reduce the shortage of generating capacity, ensuring energy independence of the regions and the country as a whole.
In addition, restrictions on operators of electricity, heat, gas, and water supply networks have been lifted, which will allow other business entities to connect gas piston and gas turbine units.
The Government has simplified the procedure for the construction of distributed generation facilities
