It is noted that over the past three years, investments in the repair and restoration of thermal power plants have amounted to almost UAH 10 billion.
"This has allowed power engineers and repairmen to work hard over the years to restore the destroyed and damaged by enemy shelling TPPs. There have been more than two hundred such attacks on the company's plants since February 2022," DTEK pointed out.
A significant portion of investments was also directed to Ukrainian coal mining.
In particular, over the past three years, DTEK's investments in the mines amounted to almost UAH 18 billion. "This has made it possible to maintain the fuel reserves needed for thermal generation," DTEK emphasised.
It is noted that the investments were directed, in particular, to the construction and repair of capital mining operations, the completion of coal beds, equipping mines with tunnelling equipment, underground mine transport, and production capacity support projects.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, DTEK has restored electricity to 17 million families whose homes were cut off due to enemy attacks.
